EFT also known as "Tapping" combines elements of cognitive therapy, exposure therapy, and acupressure. It is referred to as Tapping because you are literally tapping on stress-reducing acupoints of the body. Tapping is self administered, constructed using the clients words and perspective, allowing you to become an active participant in creating your unique breakthrough. My sessions easily work in a Zoom experience.
My approach to Tapping encourages connection to the body, fostering a calmer state and supporting the development of new belief systems. I integrate meditation, visualization, somatic practices, eye movement techniques, mindset work, and acupressure, while incorporating trauma-informed techniques throughout. I offer this work with care to support your personal growth and wellness journey.
Tapping helps release emotional blocks, resource and calm your nervous system, reduce stress, and create new belief systems. EFT can also provide additional support to those who are experiencing grief, anxiety, pain, insomnia, phobias, and lingering effects of trauma.
Studies have shown to reduce cortisol levels (stress hormone) up to 43%, cortisol reduction is correlated to greater psychological and physical well-being.
